Every day as a Health & Safety Advisor can be different, and sometimes the most rewarding visits are the ones where you can really see the progress a client has made.

Reece recently spent the day with one of our retained clients, completing their annual Health & Safety Audit before carrying out a Fire Risk Assessment of their office premises.

What stood out most wasn’t the audit itself, but the progress the business has continued to make.

Over time, Reece has built a superb working relationship with the client, and that relationship has become a really important part of the support we provide. They have a genuine passion for getting health & safety right, they are open to advice, willing to challenge themselves and, most importantly, they act on the recommendations made.

That makes a huge difference.

It is always satisfying to return to a client and see that previous discussions have turned into actions, improvements have been maintained, and standards have continued to move forward year on year.

For us, this is what ongoing advisory support should be about. Not simply carrying out audits, identifying actions and moving on, but working alongside a business, understanding how they operate and helping them continually improve.

Health & safety works best when there is trust, openness and a shared commitment to doing things properly.

This client is a great example of that in practice, and it is fantastic to see the progress they continue to make.
