There is much speculation around how health and safety will change following our exit from the European Union. However, in the short term, the changes are likely to be subtle and of little impact to your day to day management of health and safety.
It is important that businesses realise that exiting the EU is unlikely to reduce the existing standards set during our membership period, indeed, these standards are likely to be adopted as the UK benchmark. Of course, there will undoubtedly be revisions and revocations along the way, but only where risk controls are not diminished by their removal.
